Pricing (updated 06/20/2025)

Below are the fees that we charge for our services. They are split into three tiers: the Ready-to-Go package, the Standard Package, and the Deluxe package. Each package has a set of optional add-on services. This price list is full and complete, and we do not charge ANY extra fees during or after the publication process.

Ready to Go Package

This package is for authors whose have print-ready production files (front and rear cover, spine, and interior) and need to get their books on the market quickly (within 3-4 weeks). It includes the following services:

• ISBN number assigned
• Library of Congress Control Number assigned
• Bar code affixed
• Custom web page on Dove Christian Publishers' web site
• Regular information and updates to help you promote and market your book
• Competitive royalties for books sold through our website or on other online markets

If the number of words in your book's interior is:	The Fee is:
less than 33,000 words when printed	$100.00
between 33,000 – 96,000 words when printed	$150.00
greater than 96,000 words when printed	$200.00

This package can be combined with the following add-on services:

Standard Package

This standard package is suitable for an author who has already had their manuscript copy edited and has a professional cover design. Books produced under this package are ready for market within 1-2 months. This package includes the following services:

• Interior book layout and design, both e-book and print
• Assign ISBN number
• Library of Congress Control Number, if applicable
• Affix bar code
• Custom web page on Dove Christian Publishers' web site
• Web promotions, including advertising, social media posts, and review solicitation
• Regular information and updates to help you promote and market your book
• Ten free author copies (additional books are extra)
• Free access to production files upon request
• Competitive royalties for books sold through our website or on other online markets

Deluxe Package

This deluxe package is suitable for an author who has a raw manuscript, does not have a cover, and needs copy-editing and cover design. Books produced under this package are ready for market within 1-3 months. This package includes the following services:

• Full cover design
• Interior book layout and design, both e-book and print
• Copy-editing (up to 150,000 words)
• Assign ISBN number
• Library of Congress Control Number, if applicable
• Affix bar code
• Custom web page on Dove Christian Publishers' web site
• Web promotions, including advertising, social media posts, and review solicitation
• Regular information and updates to help you promote and market your book
• Ten free author copies (additional books are extra)
• Free access to production files upon request
• Competitive royalties for books sold through our website or on other online markets

Additional Fees

The below fees are circumstantial and are charged only where warranted:

Cancellation Fee (if contract is canceled within 14 days of contract signing)	$30.00

Notes:

At least 1/3 of total package and add-on fees must be paid upon submission of the contract. Another 1/3 must be paid before the final proofs are presented. The final 1/3 must be paid before delivery of any author copies. Minimum charge is $50.00.

Royalties

We pay the following royalties on books sold:
55% of the U.S. retail price for eBooks and digital formats, regardless of where sold
35% of the U.S. retail price for print books sold directly by us
10% of the U.S. retail price for print books sold through distributors and wholesalers.

Royalties are paid on a quarterly basis securely via Paypal, Venmo, or directly to your bank account using Zelle or ACH/Checking.
